Talk about a blast from the past! We are so excited to begin taking pre-orders for this "holy grail" kit that was last issued in 1968. A couple of years back, when we heard about the possibility of this kit being reissued with the original box art, we threw our hearty support behind it. Now, the dream is a reality. Our friends at Round2 tell us The California Drag Combo will be "on the water" this month with US availability in May. Delays are always possible, but this one looks pretty solid for late Spring availability.

Please note that the 1964 Galaxie is the same "closed hood" promo-style or Craftsman kit that we have seen in the last few reissues. The detailed kit with engine was sacrificed back in the day to convert the tooling to a Modified Racer kit. Of course, with a little engineering, that '64 body might work nicely on the 1963 full detail chassis. We also note that the Falcon Altered Wheelbase car includes an optional aqua-tinted glass unit and an expanded large decal sheet for both it and the tow car. The new decal sheet is presented in the photo array below.
