Between 1958-1960 the real truck used quad headlights (not this model) and reverted to single headlights in 1961.
This model has the side marker lights federally-mandated from 1968.
The small cog-and-lightning-bolt logo-crest on the middle-front of this model was used from 1957-1974.
So this model is accurate as is for 1968-1974. (of course experienced modelers can sand off these marker lights to backdate it to 1961 (single headlights); and remove the front logo-crest to update it through 1983 after which the Ford blue logo was introduced).
"The GarWood LP-900 Load-Packer refuse body was introduced in 1972.
So the model, as is, is accurate for only 1972-1974.
The previously-issued other Ford C-900 models could be accurate for 1968-1974 as is, but I have no knowledge of the semi-trailer and auto transport trailer issued in some kits."
We thank Paul for passing this on.
