The Ford Escort Mk.II was launched in 1975. It was a significant improvement over the older model, featuring a squared-style look and high reliability. With three body styles and five engine options, the Mk.II had a substantial variety of models to choose from. Mainly made by Ford plants in Germany, the Mk.II was a sales success. It was released in both the classic version and an aggressively styled, distinctive sport version. For the World Rally Championship, a dedicated RS 1800 version was made. Kit features decals for the Rally Monte Carlo version from the 1979 World Rally Championship.
