In 1988 Jaguar won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with their new race car the Jaguar XJR-9LM. This victory not only ended Porsche’s undefeated winning streak from 1980 but also was the first time that Jaguar had won the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 1957!
