"The Rest of the Story"
Record holder, multiple time class winner, multiple time Eliminator winner. Hudson 6’s were underrated, but were quite a force in drag racing in the 60’s. This much anticipated limited production kit celebrating the Junior Stock Class is sure to be a winner! This particular Hudson is special for more than one reason, and it's all about Matty Winspur.
You see, Matty Winspur loved his Hudsons. The high-torque 308 in his Q/S Hornet Special could be seen tearing up the strips in the Northeast like Dover in 1968. Moreover, this particular car was breathed on by the likes of Jack Clifford a Hudson racing legend and owner of Clifford Research and Performance Products, a California shop that specialized in Straight-6 speed products. But, here's where it gets really good. Matty was not only a fixture on the Junior Stock Circuit in the Northeast, but he was also the father of Moebius founder and Principal, Frank Winspur. Now you know why Moebius started their automotive focus with Hudson Hornets, and now you know the "rest of the story", Pauuulll Harvey...Good Day.
