The 1965 Plymouth Belvedere came in 3 series: the economy valued Belvedere I, the Belvedere II and the sporty Satellite. The Satellite was at the top of the line-up and offered in two body styles, convertible and 2 door hardtop, with standard equipment featuring a 273 cu. in V8 engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. Moebius has already treated us to the top of the line Satellite, and now we get the economy Belvedere I Sedan. Many of you have been asking, how are we going to get authentic drag racing cars with a hardtop. Though there were a few hardtops running the quarter mile, the majority of the iconic cars we all remember were sedans. Well here you go! Moebius leads off with the stock version which is almost too cool for words. Stay tuned as racing versions with authentic drag racing setups are sure to follow later this year.
