Raiders Coach Stage Coach by George Barris (1/25) (fs) It's not every day that George Barris, King of the Kustomizers, designed vehicles for rock 'n roll bands. Founded in 1958 in Idaho, Revere and the Raiders became an integral part of 60's and early 70;s pop culture and established themselves prominently in the history of rock 'n roll. This AMT reissue of the MPC original includes all of the original parts except for the band figures. The new box is not nearly as cool as the vintage one, but the kit remains the same. We have included some pictures of the vintage MPC box and the real car in the picture rotations. Paul Revere and the Raiders were the first rock group to be signed with Columbia Records with the 1963 recording of "Louie Louie" In 1965-1966 Paul Revere and the Raiders were featured on the ABC TV five-day-a-week network show "Where the Action Is" produced by Dick Clark. Paul Revere and the Raiders appeared on 520 episodes of "Where the Action Is" a network TV show on ABC. In 1968 & 1969 Paul Revere co-hosted a weekly ABC TV series, "Happening" produced by Dick Clark.
