Space:1999, which originally aired in 1975, featured the crew of Moon Base Alpha as they found themselves stranded on our moon as a nuclear disaster knocked it from Earth’s atmosphere. Sci-fi fans remember the outstanding special effects and production values of the show. The hero ship of the show was the Eagle-1 transporter, and MPC® is proud to return this classic kit to the market. The highly detailed model features simple assembly and measures 12” long when built. All new updated decals are included.
To commemorate the return of the kit, MPC® is introducing a “signature series” program. Each kit will include a mini poster of the Eagle and its pilot, Alan Carter. Modelers can fi nd randomly inserted autographed copies signed by Nick Tate, the actor who played the character on the show.

Fans of iconic sci-fi, hold the design and
production of Space:1999 in high regard. The
short-lived TV show created by sci-fi pioneer,
Jerry Anderson, left an indelible impression.
Like Star Trek’s U.S.S. Enterprise, the show
had a main stage for all of the action and that
was Moonbase Alpha. The base housed the
crew on their mission through space. The kit
is comprised of two elements, a 1:3200 scale
model of the entire base and a larger 1:115
scale of the base’s nerve center control room.
This updated release of the MPC kit contains
signifi cant changes to make the model more
accurate. Five all-new landing pads are
included (previous releases had only 3) along
with other pieces to accurately portray the
layout of the base. A four-piece vacuform base
supplies the entire sprawl of the moon base
surface. NEW in-scale Eagle Transporters are
also included.

The Eagle Transporter is the iconic capital spacecraft featured in
the Gerry Anderson show Space:1999. The previous release of the
12” version of the ship has always been well-received by fans and
modelers everywhere. MPC now releases an ALL-NEW large format
kit of the ship. It has been exhaustively researched for accuracy
and features spring-loaded landing foot pads, pilot figures and all
decals needed to fully decorate the ship. Special attention has been
paid to ensure it assembles as easily as Round 2’s release of the
Polar Lights 1:350 scale TOS Enterprise.

The Escape From the Dungeon glue-together model kit is the first release in the haunted Manor series of kits from Polar Lights that re-introduces fun, spooky models from years past. The kit features fine details on every part. It uses rubber band action to pring two moving figures. In Escape From the Dungeon, is the executioner offering a near miss or a favor that will free our diminuitive friend? In either case, another long-dead ghoul has something to say about it! The model base is 8 3/4" wide and 7" long. The plastic model even glows in the dark (if left unpainted).
