1957 Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupe (3 'n 1) Stock, Drag, Custom (1/25) (fs)
A modeler's favorite for years, despite newer issues, the best modelers always gravitate back to the original AMT 1957. Perhaps, all the extra parts that have survived through many of the reissues is the reason. Take a minute and checkout all the extras in this kit. AMT 6563 was issued in several different boxes. First issued in 1983, this is the first of the 6563 series. The kit was manufactured in the USA at the then new Dyersville, Iowa factory. This is the first issue after AMT T-280 "Pepper Shaker" issued in 1968, and has all the parts from that last Troy, Michigan release.
This kit arrived in pristine sealed inside condition. The only parts missing are the Custom Keystone Mags. The kit came from the Estate of a talented builder who obviously borrowed the Keystones for another project. The Pepper Shaker Decal is in tact except that a sub-sponsor decal was cut out for another project. The chrome is bright. All the Opaque parts are factory sealed. The chrome is bright, and the glass and taillights are perfect. We sealed the other parts by category to keep it all in tact.
