This relatively new retooled addition to AMT's historic lineup was released in 1998 and sold out quickly. Powered by the powerful 409 hp V-8, the engine on this kit features an authentic aluminum intake manifold and two 4-barrel carburetors. The body features silver anodized aluminum inserts body side moldings and rear deck cove. Accurate Impala SS signature is engraved on the rear deck lid and on the rear fenders. The interior features bucket seats with anodized aluminum trim edging., flip top center console, passenger side grab bar with Super Sport emblem, electric Tachometer, and swirl pattern aluminum instrument panel. This kit is factory sealed. It was part of a value pack and was factory sealed with tape and has not been opened. This box has the black car on top which you can see in the photo rotation.
