1971 David Pearson "Clear Body" GTO NASCAR (1/25) (si) (fb) Sealed Inside - Fair Box  

The David Pearson Clear Body GTO has always been one of those "Holy Grail" kits.  Featuring clear body parts, (that could be painted) builders and collectors alike have made the clear body GTO a collectible favorite with very few original kits surviving in un-built condition. Since the body is clear, the chassis, engine and interior are visible when it's built. This kit was never reissued adding to the rarity.  In sixteen years of marketing rare vintage kits, this is only the second one of these we have had for sale.  The first one was not this clean and sold for $219.00 about ten years ago.

The major parts bag on this kit is sealed inside and complete.  The clear parts have been carefully inspected and resealed.  The decal has been resealed in plastic and appears to be perfect, but as with all vintage decals, should be coated with Microscale liquid decal film prior to attempted usage.  (We stock Microscale Liquid Decal Film, search for DP127 $2.99)
