Issued in 1974, you get points if you even remember this rare MPC kit of the 1975 Buick Skyhawk. The "first generation" Buick Skyhawk was a subcompact, four passenger, hatchback based on the Chevrolet Vega H-body platform and shares its wheelbase and width. The Skyhawk's H-body cousins included the Chevrolet Monza, Oldsmobile Starfire, and Pontiac Sunbird. In North America, it competed with other small sporty cars, such as the Toyota Celica, Datsun 200SX, VW Scirocco, Mercury Capri, and the Ford Mustang II. The Buick Skyhawk was the smallest car to wear the Buick badge in more than 60 years.
Powered by a 262 CID 4.3 litre V-8 engine, she was "A beauty on the outside with a 'Beast' under the hood. This kit comes from a meticulous collector and is inspected and complete. The chrome tree is 100% bright and shiny. The glass is bagged and unmarked. Most parts are on trees, but loose parts have been bagged. The box shows normal shelf wear. The kit is shielded with bubble wrap inside and resealed on the outside to protect the box and keep all the contents in tact.
