The third generation (C3) of Corvettes was the longest running generation with a 14 year production span. Styling changed subtly throughout the generation until 1978 for the car's 25th anniversary. The 1978 25th Anniversary model introduced the fastback glass rear window and featured a new interior and dashboard. This '78 also features the then new clear T-tops. Corvette's 25th anniversary was celebrated with the Indy 500 Pace Car limited edition and a Silver Anniversary model featuring silver over gray lower body paint. Corvette Yellow was one of 12 Dealer Color Choices for '78, and since this one is molded in white, the builder can choose his favorite.
