With the introduction of the new "sweepline" designed '65 Chevy, the shoebox look of the '50's and '60's was gone forever and the top of the line Impala SS, with its powerful new 396 V-8 had the power to match its good looks.
While AMT released an annual version of the 1965 Impala in 1965, the sweetest kit came from from Revell in 1996. Featuring modern tooling, the Revell issue truly satisfied the need for a new issue of this classic Impala . Now, the kit has been further enhanced with a Chip Foose custom version. We will post more details and features of this particular kit when we get the information from Revell. For you stock builders, this kit includes stock "hubcap type" wheels and factory stock tires. Whitewall tire decals are on the decal sheet. For you customizers, you have a set of large diameter Foose designed wheels with large low profile custom tires. Redline decals are on the decal sheet. The kit also features stock or custom air cleaner. The kit does not include stock valve covers.
